Prerequisites

All modules have questions. There are four modules. The following table shows the percentage of questions in each module.
Module 1: Describe Core Concepts of Data (15-20%)
This module will ask you questions about Core data workloads, i.e. Batch data, Streaming and the differences between them. It also addresses characteristics of Relational data. Questions about Data Visualization are expected. Other important concepts include analytics techniques, Extract and Transform, and load (ETL), Extract, Load, and Transform (ELT), and data processing.
Module 2: Describe how to work with relational data on Azure (25-30%)
This module focuses more on Relational Data on Azure. Understanding relational Data Structures is key to understanding Azure Data services. Basic cloud computing concepts like SaaS and PaaS will be tested. Some questions may be asked about security components and query techniques. This will include comparisons of relational Data in PostgreSQL (MySQL), and Azure SQL Database.
Module 3: Describe how to work with Azure non-relational data (25-30%)
