December 31, 2017 – The last day of 2017. The New Year’s Eve holiday is a time for miracles and presents. It is said that people should let go of old thoughts, grievances, and things. The company will be removing all old certifications and exams on December 31. The main reason for this huge withdrawal is the new VCA/DBT certification.
VMware is discontinuing the VMware Certified Associate 6 certifications.
VMware Certified Associate 6 – Data Center Virtualization (VCA6-DCV) – 1V0-621 exam
VMware Certified Associate 6 – Network Virtualization (VCA6-NV) – 1V0-642 exam
VMware Certified Associate 6 – Desktop and Mobility (VCA6–DTM) – 1V0-605 Exam
VMware Certified Associate 6 – Cloud Management and Automation (VCA6CMA) – 1V0-603 Exam
These exams will cease to be available after December 31 and the certification will not be awarded. There is still time to get one of these retiring certs.
VMware Certified Associate 6 – Data Center Virtualization (VCA6-DCV)
You will be more credible when discussing data center virtualization, business challenges that vSphere is intended to address, as well as how virtualizing the data centre with vSphere addresses these challenges.

This exam measures candidates’ technical skills and abilities in identifying technical requirements to manage a VMware vSphere 6. environment. It includes 50 multiple-choice and single-choice questions online. The exam lasts for 75 minutes.

VMware Certified Associate 6 – Network Virtualization (VCA6-NV)

This exam measures candidates’ technical skills and abilities in identifying technical requirements to manage a VMware NSX 6.2 environment. It includes 50 multiple-choice and single-choice questions online. The exam lasts for 75 minutes.

VMware Certified Associate 6 – Desktop and Mobility (VCA6–DTM)
